We worked in groups. This presentation was interesting, because each group had different points of view in some aspects of the same story, but in others we were agree.                                               THE DAY I GOT LOST                                                             Isaac Bashevis Singer Biography   (November 21, 1902 - July 24, 1991) Was born in Poland undmilitary partitions by the Russian Empire.  Was a Polish-born jewish writer. The Polish form of his birth name was Icek Hersz Zynger. He used his mother's first name in an initial literary pswudonym, Izaak Baszewis, which he later expanded.He was a leading figure in the Yiddish literary movement, writing and publishing only in Yiddish.  Awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1978, also awarded two U:S: National Book Awards, one in Children's Literature for his memjoir A Day of Pleasure: Stories of a Boy Growing Up in Warsaw (1970) and one in Fiction for his collection A Crown of Feathers and Other stories (1974).                                   WUTHERING HEIGHTS                                                        Emily Brontë  Biography Emily Jane Brontë -Ellis Bell- (July 30, 1818, Thomton, England- December 19, 1848, Haworth, England) English novelist and poet, wrote only one novel "Wuthering Heights" considered a classic of English literature, is about passion and hate set on the Yorkshire. Emily was the third of Brontë siblings, her father was Patrick Brontë who was Irish, her mother was Maria Branwell. In 1820 the family moved to Haworth, There the Brontë children developed their literary talents. In 1844, Emily recoies all the poems she had written into two notebooks. One was labeled "Gondal Poems", the other was unlabeled. In 1845, Charlotte discovered the notebooks and insisted that the poems be published.
